A Stark Contrast
Unions and laws eventually had to be introduced to temper the excesses of letting the market decide and to, literally, preserve the very lives of workers. My point is that the market has traditionally shown poor judgment and has given rise to the necessity for supervision. Without that supervision, business has shown a seamless tendency to become predatory. Republicans are of the mind that those regulations, that supervision, disturbs the effectiveness of the marketplace and interferes with their ability to do business. I agree, and it’s a good thing!

Election 08 Voter Fraud Alert
A woman who lives about 3 miles from me got 2 mailings from the Republican Party containing an official request form for an absentee ballot from her old state. Take a wild guess what state it was. Yup, Florida! She said she has lived here and voted in at least 3 elections since leaving Florida years ago. She showed the reporter the two mailings and right there on the front was a picture of John McCain!

Unfortunate Indiscretions Then and Now
Sarah Palin is everything John McCain insists Barrack Obama is; a Rock Star with little substance and even less experience. He spends a lot of time campaigning with Sarah in tow because she is the box office draw on the Republican ticket. Without her, no one is paying attention to McCain.
