There’s a lot of misinformation floating around right now about the United Auto Workers Union (UAW) being the cause of the problems facing US Automakers. There have also been a number of ads on your TV about how scary the Unions are and how much of a threat they are to your privacy and financial security.

Imagine the possibilities you’d have if you could choose a “Green Party”, a “Libertarian Party”, a “Constitution Party”, an “Independent Party” or, what the hell, even a “Freedom Socialist Party” candidate. (All actual political parties that had a Presidential Candidate on my ballot)

Opportunity Knocks Part II – The Auto Maker Meltdown
The primary barrier to the electric car has always been the batteries to run them and how long they could run an automobile between chargings. The technology was at the very cusp of a breakthrough in real world viability when the wind changed direction in California and electric cars were no longer legally mandated by the largest automobile market in the country.
