The Party of “No!”
They’ve been able to include amendments and remove components that are all carefully designed to prevent it from achieving any of its intended goals! And when it comes to a final vote, Republicans will all, every last one, vote against it because the only remaining option for the survival of Conservatism is to be “The Party of NO!”

This is one of those circumstances in which NOT making a decision, IS making a decision. The effects of our reluctance to take aggressive and decisive action against affronts to our founding national ideals, from within, reshapes our Democratic Republic into something else entirely.

A Word about Torture
I appreciated Obama’s use of the word “Torture” to describe the acts. The President, who is also a well respected Professor of Constitutional Law, called the legal reasoning used to justify such torture to be “A Mistake”.
