Proposition 8 Done Right
Finally the question of equal protection under the law, regarding same sex marriage, has been addressed head on by an appeals court. Virtually ALL of the manufactured fears about the crumbling of society, gay parenting, whether a person is born gay or chooses to be, and the devaluation of heterosexual marriage were presented to the court and found to be without legal merit.

Gays in the Military
Today, 16 years later, we are still haggling over this same issue. Part of the reason for that has nothing to do with Gays in the Military. It has to do with Good Christian Moral Values and the Republican Party’s reliance on what they call “Morals Voters”.

Gay Pride 2010 Portland Oregon
We surrender our constitutional rights WAY to easy in this country. Just like I almost did that Saturday, “Without even thinking about it”! A casual observer who doesn’t have those rights might think we don’t even care that we DO!
